Once I had a pretty good job as a 3D animator working for Night & Day Studios in Portland, Or.  Then the economy tanked and I was laid off.  But it was certainly fun while it lasted.  My good friends started a company and asked if I thought I could learn to animate in three dimensions.  I was up for anything more exciting then bartending at a suburban Mexican restaurant so I said yes.  Did I learn? A little, sure.  Never quite mastered it but figured out enough to make a few odd videos.  The best part of the gig was our office in an old firehouse.  I used the fire pole pretty much as my main mode of egress.  There was also a sauna which i used everyday.  Good times, long gone.
